Electronics on glass - IMPAtouch
We apply capacitive sensors, conductor tracks and complete circuits directly onto glass using ceramic pastes and screen printing. In combination with multi-layered design prints, this creates unique product solutions.
After stoving the ceramic pastes, toughened safety glass (ESG) is produced, which is then fitted with electronic components and microprocessors like a circuit board in the SMD process.
Our electronics development engineers are experts in the implementation of complex circuits that can be printed directly onto glass and will find the right solution for your requirements.
LEDs on glass - IMPAled
Conductor track structures are printed on glass and LEDs are assembled and soldered directly onto the thermally hardened substrate using the SMD process.
Our IMPAled technology platform offers new opportunities for lighting applications. Hardened glass as an LED board including capacitive sensors for switching and dimming.
A glass LED board for indirect and glare-free light in a refrigerator. Here, the glass serves as a circuit carrier and heat sink, the housing is also the reflector and was also developed in Schönsee and delivered as an assembly.
Sensor Bonding
In a fully automated process, glass touch sensors are optically bonded using the LOCA (liquid optical clear adhesive) process.
