Just like with the OMLED lights designed by Thomas Emde. It had to be ultra-flat, less than one centimetre thick. It had to emit a uniform, bright light – without visible hotspots from the individual LEDs. That’s impossible, everybody said. We just did it. With state-of-the-art, super-flat OLEDs – and our technology platforms.
