Parallel development with embedded HMIs
An embedded HMI combines all functions directly at the interface with the operator. This' intelligence 'on the control panel results in a functional separation of device application and HMI — and thus enables parallel development. And this without the otherwise required transfer of knowledge. In a specialist article, the trade journal Elektronik has explained how this works technically, what needs to be considered and, above all, what advantages this approach brings.
