LEDs on glass

With our ImpaLED technology platform, we create the perfect symbiosis of light and glass, in that the LED board is both a diffuser and a reflector. Based on this technology, we develop lighting solutions for design-oriented series products for our customers.

Tailored lighting solutions

With our IMPAled technology, we create lighting solutions that are characterized by a very flat design and a reduced number of components. In combination with a specially developed plastic reflector, we achieve homogeneous and asymmetrical light distribution for lighting in a refrigerator, for example. The heat management of the LEDs takes place via the glass directly to the ambient air.

LED mounting on glass

Conductor tracks made from conductive pastes are screen-printed directly on the glass. The LEDs and electronic components for their power supply are then fitted directly onto the thermally hardened glass using the SMD process. All components are soldered directly to the glass using reflow soldering. The result is an LED board made of toughened safety glass (ESG).

Glare-free lighting in the office

The perfect symbiosis of light and glass. By making our LED boards both a diffuser and a reflector, we create glare-free and efficient lighting for the modern office. The conductor tracks on the glass become a design element and give our luminaires their unique appearance.

OLED light as a series product

Turning creative ideas into series products is our strength. This is how the world's first OLED luminaire series was created for the internationally renowned lighting artist Thomas Emde. Designed as a pendant luminaire with a construction height of less than 9 mm, the light appears to float in the room. Thanks to the ingenious design, each individual OLED tile can be easily replaced.
